  • Soft rags (ie old t-shirts)
  • Your own cup/mug

About the Workshop

We are excited to announce a new and unique Workshop presented by our new Splashout Presenter, John Freeman.

Using a combination of the creative process of Abstraction and Mindfulness this workshop is designed as a combination of a creative image making processes and a self-enquiry practice. To understand the deeper gifts unique to each of us we will approach image making from an intuitive/ imaginative perspective rather than through observation and prescribed techniques.

A range of artistic activities incorporated with a number of guided meditations, self-reflections and group discussions will enable us to explore the inner world of our deeper selves.

About the Presenter – John Freeman

​John trained as an Art Teacher and taught for over a decade. He also trained as an artist, however, it is only recently since his retirement from commercial work that he has been painting seriously.​

​The creative practices of painting and drawing have been a spiritual practice for John in many ways. ​This is expressed as joy, beauty and playfulness in John’s art.
