All materials/supplies/paper/canvas sheets/paints/equipment including boards ready prepared for your final piece (feel free to bring your own kits, though not necessary)
Catered gourmet lunch on Sunday plus professional model fee

PROGRAM:

Friday 24 November 6.30 – 9.30 pm ‘An Evening with Evert’ 

Evert Ploeg, multi award winning, Archibald prize winner, will start and complete a nude figurative work live in the Splashout Studio.  Throughout this exclusive demonstration, Evert will talk us through his methods and style. There will be pauses for questions and engagement with one of Australia’s premier portrait and figurative Artists.

The event is ticketed, but Workshop participants are complimentary.

Evert has requested that ALL Workshop participants attend, as the demonstration is mainly being presented as Stage One of the weekend Workshop with participants required to attend.

As you will see from various links and photographs on this page, Evert’s work is quite sublime, technically brilliant, gorgeously composed and highly sought after. We are delighted to present this exclusive workshop for a small number of experienced painters/artists. (Please note Evert works in oils.)

Saturday 25 November 10.00 am – 4.00 pm

Under Evert’s specialist guidance, the group will be asked to complete various warm-up exercises and practice pieces to become familiar with the shape and form of our professional model.

Please bring your own lunch.

Sunday 26 November 10.00 am – 4.00 pm

A full day of starting, developing and completing a final finished art piece.

Please note:  Fully catered gourmet lunch will be served on Sunday.

ABOUT EVERT PLOEG (pronounce: Avert Plough)

Currently working and residing in Sydney NSW Australia, and with Dutch heritage, Evert is a multi-award winning, international artist with formidable achievements.

Evert’s representational style fused with a fresh and contemporary attitude has seen him secure portrait commissions from a diverse range of clients including Australian and international celebrities to commercial and corporate institutions. For this Workshop, a certain level of skill and/or experience is required.  Please see below

An understanding and competence in:
drawing | angle measurements | negative space | units of measure | subtleties of colour mixing | tonal values | keen observation

Payment Plan Option:

If you wish to pay for your Workshop in instalments, you may, as follows:

First payment:  $100 is a deposit to hold your place
Instalment 1 – $225 due 31 October 2017
Instalment 2 – $225 due 10 November 2017

Join us for an intimate insight into how Evert creates his paintings. Throughout his demonstration Evert will talk us through his methods and style.

The evening will include wine & cheese and is guaranteed to be engaging and enlightening.
