Workshop Theme

‘Life on the Coast’ is a workshop especially requested of guest presenter, Richard Rogers, by Splashout!  We requested the subject matter in celebration of this fabulous region we work, live and play in.  The South Australian Coastline – it’s great !

About The Workshop

Paint the sea, waves as well as coastlines (for those who want to do this) under the expert guidance of Richard Rogers.

Richard will supply an array of reference photos for you to choose from.  These will assist with inspiration and help you enter into your piece to help you get started at the beginning of the Workshop.

TUTOR: RICHARD ROGERS

Richard specialises in teaching and painting with acrylics, helping aspiring artists unlock their creativity and gain the skills to achieve their artistic vision in whatever style they choose to work.

His relaxed and encouraging teaching style is coupled with a sound knowledge of mediums, painting techniques, colour theory and principles of composition and design.

Richard has produced several art instruction DVDs and regularly presents workshops and demonstrations around Australia. His work has featured in the ‘Artist’s Palette’, ‘Australian Artist’ and ‘International Artist’ magazines. Splashout is especially pleased to present this Workshop tutored by Richard Rogers. (He comes highly recommended and research has shown that participants in his previous workshops have come away with several new skills and artwork to be proud of and memories of a quality time spent in the studio.)
