Palette Knife Painting

Guest Workshop Presenter: Lisa Ingerson (SA)

  16″ x 20″quality stretched canvas (to take home)
  Use of full colour kit of quality acrylic and oil paints
  Use of all necessary equipment, plus palettes, rags and cranked palette knives
  Teas/coffee/biscuits/cake provided free throughout the day
• NOTHING EXTRA TO BUY OR PAY ON THE DAY
• BYO lunch

About The Workshop

The workshop will start with Lisa’s explanation of how she achieves her outcomes. From there on Lisa will coach and demonstrate how you too can achieve such dynamic effects by using a Palette Knife as a painting tool.  Note: Participants will be working in various mediums using Splashout Palette knifes.  All materials and equipment are supplied FREE within the fee.  See samples of past participants’ work below.

A Word from the Artist

“I am an artist with a passionate interest in painting large bold people focused works using various styles to explore feelings, intensity and form working with a number of different mediums including, charcoal, bitumen, gold leaf and oils. I’m very much looking forward to presenting this Workshop for Splashout in their fabulous Marino studio.” Lisa Ingerson

About the Artist

Lisa is a multi award winning South Australian Artist as well as being a full-time Registered Nurse and Mum. She also volunteers in the office at the South Australian Royal Society of Arts plus many other extra curricula activities.  See samples of Lisa’s artworks above.
