LESSON 1 – TREES (IN THE STYLE OF TOM THOMSON)

For this first ‘General Painting’ project, we will be creating highly expressive trees in the style of Canadian Artist, Tom Thomson (1877-1917).

Tom was born and painted from Canada and was an artist whose works consisted almost entirely of landscapes depicting trees, skies, lakes and rivers.

Let’s get started by watching Lesson 1 – Stage 1 video below.

LESSON 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

An interview with Krystyna Ciesiolkiewicz (Tutor)

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Please photograph your 3 sketches and email to us at:  art@splashout.net.au
Krystyna will give immediate feedback.

After receiving Krystyna’s feedback, please proceed with your painting.
Feel free to send in questions via email any time.

It is ESSENTIAL that all videos are watched in full with sound on because Krystyna is giving many instructions including timelines and what is required of you step by step.

We will stay connected with you throughout the whole process while we all get used to this ‘other’ way of attending Splashout Art Classes.
