Workshop Theme

Broaden the range of painting techniques at your disposal with this fun workshop.
You will increase your artistic vocabulary as you discover what can be achieved without a brush ever touching the canvas.

About The Workshop

Richard will commence the Workshop with demonstrations of how to set up your composition. He will then move on to facilitating warm up exercises for you to get in the flow and start your mental planning.  There will be breaks during the Workshop for group discussion and ensuring that all are on the same page. Then after a brief lunch break we will move into re-creating your image onto a quality stretched canvas which of course is included in the Splashout fee.

TUTOR: RICHARD ROGERS

Richard specialises in teaching and painting with acrylics, helping aspiring artists unlock their creativity and gain the skills to achieve their artistic vision in whatever style they choose to work.

His relaxed and encouraging teaching style is coupled with a sound knowledge of mediums, painting techniques, colour theory and principles of composition and design.

Richard has produced several art instruction DVDs and regularly presents workshops and demonstrations around Australia. His work has featured in the ‘Artist’s Palette’, ‘Australian Artist’ and ‘International Artist’ magazines. Splashout is especially pleased to present this Workshop tutored by Richard Rogers. (He comes highly recommended and research has shown that participants in his previous workshops have come away with several new skills and artwork to be proud of and memories of a quality time spent in the studio.)
